Just Sharing Two Delicious Cookies Recipes

I was at Stampin Up last night and some of the ladies wanted the Peanut Butter Fingers recipe. I brought them last month to share. So here is the recipe...

Peanut Butter Fingers

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup peanut butter
3/4 teaspoon soda
1/ teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups flour
2 cups rolled oats

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and peanut butter.
Mix all dry ingredients together in a separate bowl, then add to the creamed mixture. Then spread out on a greased 13" x 18" cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 min. Do not overbake. (In my oven is usually takes about 10 to 12 minutes)

When it is done and you take it out of the oven, then spread a package of milk chocolate chips on top and let melt and then spread over evenly. Enjoy!

Here is another recipe that I love and want to share. These are really good too!

ORANGE OATMEAL CHEWIES

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Toast 1 cup oats in oven.

3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons orange rind

Mix dry ingredient together in a separate bowl. Then in a larger bowl cream together the sugar, shortening, egg, vanilla and orange rind. Then add the dry ingredients and the toasted Oatmeal.

Spoon out and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. The are so good! Hope you all enjoy!
