We are going back East!

We are leaving on a trip back to Palmyra, New York. We are so excited! We are going with our Stake Presidency. Here is a picture of this beautiful temple. We took our family on a trip here back in 2006. It was wonderful and I will never forget it. So because of that I am looking forward to going again. I hope the weather will be nice and it will be wonderful to see it in the spring time. When we went in 2006 it was August and quite hot.
In this picture, this is an area that you see as you enter the temple. When you look out of these windows you can see the Sacred Grove. When building this temple, they were going to put and office here and Pres. Hinckley told them that he wanted beautiful windows there instead. He said, "I want to be in the Temple and look out at the temple also." (Meaning the Sacred Grove)
I love the church history and these places are so sacred. I am grateful for the opportunity to go once again.

A few more digi pictures. I'm on a roll today!

I love this picture of Ruby. Her mom blogged about it, but I had to digi pic it!
Phia loves her play dough and she loves to tell her daddy how to play with it!
This is an oldie, but a goody of Ashley and Jed. They are such a cute couple and so I did this picture too! It has been a fun day playing on the computer. I also did a couple of cute cards with my Cricut. I will have to put them on later. Tonight we are going to dinner and I am looking forward to it. I guess I better go get some laundry folded. I have been playing a bit to much today, but I sure have enjoyed it!

Digital pictures and a couple cards.

Ruby loving playing Dora Candy Land on the computer. I had fun playing the game with her!
Saturday, Delphia was here with her family and we were cleaning out flower beds and she wanted to play outside and help us pull weeds. It was beautiful day and we sure enjoyed Delphia's curiousty and wonder about doing yard work.
I made this card a while ago, but I sure do like it. It is pretty funny!
I made this card on Tuesday evening at Stampin up! The flower is made of fabric and it is also a magnet you and put on the fridge. It is cut out on the big shot. It is amazing that it cuts 8 layers of fabric. I had a fun evening doing cards. I am so glad it is Friday and the weekend it almost here. I have been cold today. I don't know exactly why. I am wearing a sweater to keep myself warm. The temperature in the house is at 70 degrees, but I am still cold. Well, I guess I better get off the computer and get some grocery shopping done. I really don't want to go out in the rain.

I couldn't resist the picture of Graham and Truman!

David and Liz Thompson have the cutest children! When I saw this on Liz's blog, I just had to do a picture of them. It is such a sweet picture. Graham and Truman look quite a bit a like. They are the cutest brother's and I am sure they will be best buds as they grow up...as if they aren't all ready. Keep sharing those cute pictures everyone! They are so fun to do!

I have been digital scrapping my new Grand-babies!

I just love these new little additions to our family! They are so sweet and precious. Newly sent from our Heavenly Father to wonderful families who love them. I am grateful for wonderful daughters who are great mother's to their children and great wives to their husbands. Love is what it is all about! I am excited because I am going out to visit both of these babies tomorrow! Well, really I am visiting Ruby, Emma, Eli, Delphia and Josie and their mom's. I am so blessed to have such a great family!

Today I am watching Chloe for a few hours this afternoon, while her parents are packing and getting ready to move to a new home a couple of houses down from them. I think they are excited to move. It will be fun to see Chloe and spend some time with her today! Have a great day everyone!

It's a Monday and I'm off to a good start!

Well the past two weeks have been hectic but good ones. I had two beautiful grandbabies born last week. I am so grateful they are doing so well and are at home with their families. I watched Ruby, Emma and Delphia off and on over the past two weeks and it was busy and a bit crazy, but we sure had a fun time. I love them all. They are such cute little girls and they play and have so much fun together.

I went to Weight Watcher's today and knew that I would go in with a gain. I missed last monday and then with all that was going on I did too much baking and getting back into old habits. As they say, "Old habits, never die!" But it doesn't mean it needs to stay that way. I gained three pounds and so I was a a half pound above goal weight. That is o.k. My life is getting back to normal and I am journaling my food and back to my good exercise routine. The weight will come off.

I was proud of myself on Saturday. I was in a race with members of my ward. It was a 2 mile race at Dimple Dell Recreation Park. I walked the first lap quite fast and then jogged the other 5 laps. The track was a 1/3 of a mile. So three laps was a mile. I was amazed at myself. My exercising has paid off and I couldn't believe that I could do it. What a wonderful feeling of accomplishment. So I just need to keep up the good work and eat right and exercise and stay in the race of life. I know if I would have been 38 pounds heavier it would have been a lot harder to keep up with my grand daughters the past two weeks. Well life is good and I am a happy woman. I'm going to make this a successful week and be good to myself!

Ashley what a sweet and special little mommy you are. We are so proud of you! You have such a beautiful son and we love you both so very much!

We are so tickled and excited to have our new little grandson arrive today! He weighed 10 pounds and 1 ounce. Amazing! He is so sweet and precious as are all new babies. Ashley is doing well and grateful to have him here. We had fun visiting tonight at the hospital. I am anxious to get to see and hold him tomorrow! These babies are such miracles! Erin will be delivering her baby tomorrow and we are excited to get her sweet little on here too! What an exciting week we are having. Two little blessing from heaven. I will post pictures of Erin and baby tomorrow.

As you can see we had a fun Easter Weekend. These are pictures from the Easter Egg Hunt. It was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed a nice lunch and just being together. Conference was wonderful too and I so enjoyed all the talks that were given and I know that I have some things to work on. It was a nice weekend and now I get to look forward to the next couple of weeks of having two new grand babies coming. Ashley is being induced on Tuesday and Erin will have her baby the following Tuesday by C-section. So exciting. I can't wait to see them and welcome them here and to our family. Life is good and I am richly blessed!
